What\'s the Most Raises You\'ve Gone Heads Up?
 

On the sites that allow unlimited raises when it gets heads up, what's the most raises you've gone?

Did you win [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] or lose [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] ?

How often have you gone more than 8 bets on one of the big streets? A rough guess from my hand count and my memory of when it's happened is that it's happened to me about every 5000 to 7000 hands.

I'm pretty sure I went >25 bets against maniacs on crypto 1/2 pound once or twice. With really marginal [censored] like top pair good kicker as well. I think I won each time it happened.

I went 13 raises tonight BTW, and Villian was going strong when I ran out of dough which really stunk. Lesson learned and shared.

This prompted me to wonder how often others have gotten into a extra raise situation when HU.

Looking at my hand count at Crypto and by rough recollection, I think I've gotten into extra raising about once every 5000-6000 hands.

One that really stands out in my mind was i had QcTc and the flop and turn was Js9c2c8h and I figured I was free rolling him and we raised the turn until I was all in which was only like 8 raises. The river was a 3h and he had 7cTs.

I went 11 bets preflop with AQo at 8/16 fortune.

My most recent one - like 70/45/2Villian capped 34o SB vs BB steal, I had 77, we went like 7 or 8 bets on 754 flop, he finally calls, calls A turn, donks 6 river. YAY.

Crypto 1/2: I went 18 bets on the turn once, my straight flush v opponents nut flush =)



However, it was Omaha/8.. and he rivered his low for a split pot [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

The only time i put in a bunch of raises was when i had the nut broadway straight on the turn, i think it was ~8 bets. River was a blank and they didn't do the benefit of reraising me there.
