Yea sorry about that man.
Pull bankroll, but it seems you're confident on Monday's intervew. I hope you get it. It definitely sucks not having health insurance, especially with family. Hopefully you won't have to wait for the insurance to kick in at new job.

Once you have a new (and hopefully) better job, you can then go on to hookers/blow.

Wow, a 28k paycut is ridiculous. I would have said the famous words, "You can't fire me because I quit!!!"

[/ QUOTE ]

wouldn't this reduce the chances of collecting unemployment?

[/ QUOTE ]
No. At least in TN, quitting in lieu of getting fired doesn't affect your status for collecting unemployment. They even use this specific example. Providing you meet the requirements for collecting, if your boss tells you you're getting fired today, tomorrow, next week, you can quit on the spot and still get your unemployment.

Sell the kids on the black market. In one move you eliminate your need for insurance, and get a mad bankroll. Seriously, pull the bankroll and ride out the tough times. Good luck.

Why didn't you take the paycut and then start job hunting?

$700/wk beats $200 and change weekly for unemployment "benefits."

As for suggestions... I suggest you do your collections/web design stuff while you search for a new job. Don't dip into the poker bankroll unless you need to, but don't play either to avoid variance leaving you with less than you need if it turns out you need it (for hookers and blow).
