I think at least one guy got them to agree to reimburse him for paying back some of his student loans. There was a thread on it a couple months ago in the zoo.

Hmm, so they can do all kinds of gift certificates even though they don't offer them anymore? Rigged. The JetBlue thing sounds good if you travel a lot. I'm interested in paying off some loans as well

Any good ideas for using the concierge service at stars? I’m thinking about some gift cards for some more practical uses that they can send me (groceries, furniture, etc). I would prefer they give me the card and not just refund my account with the extra money.

as far as ive heard to use the concierge service you have to buy whatever it is you want and then mail them a receipt, and then they credit your account. not sure 100% but i dont think they will just send you the stuff

Here's the list they can send:
Amazon.com
NewEgg.com ($1000)
JetBlue
AA.com
Home Depot
Maybe bestbuy

Still looking for ideas.

I just bought a $1500 camera. See if the receipt has to have your name on it. Also I need a sunroof for my car.

The school payment was for a semester of tuition. I'm pretty sure they won't pay school loans. I go from Boston to Philly all the time to see the gf but only US airways and Airtran are good for that trip.

The problem with submitting receipts and getting paid is taxes...
