My point is why would the head of Party Poker advertising contact me about setting up this deal if they were not okay with my software? Clearly they knew about my software (they initiated contact) and were okay with it enough to set up an arrangement.

[/ QUOTE ]

You are giving more credit to party then you should. PokerEdge contacted Empire's marketing campaign and they said it was OK. Then party banned PokerEdge.

At the time, Empire was not Party. Empire did not decide to ban PokerEdge, Party did. I am dealing directly with Party.

The difference between PT and a bot is that PT just takes information which the sites provide to EVERY PLAYER, and presents that information in sich a way that is easier to understand. You say it is unethical because it makes calculations that humans could not, which is completely false.

[/ QUOTE ]
no, you are misunderstood what the point of that arguement was. the fact that PA HUD does the calculations in a matter of seconds where it would take a human a day. so that information isnt available to you at that time, it would be available a day later after doing the calculations

[ QUOTE ]

PT does not make decisions for players, it simply shows information which they (and everyone else) already had in an aesthetically pleasing and useful way.

[/ QUOTE ]

no, but it will help you come to your judgment/conclusion/action.
no you are absolutely wrong.

Poker sites provide for handhistories through e-mail upon request. You'll get the e-mail 1 hour after your request. You receive your seat number with your ID, the other Players are just named seat 1-10. You then can import the hands and study your game. Easy, isn't it?

[/ QUOTE ]

This is growing on me. (Better would be to give players names based on position from dealer, then yuo would not have stats on any single person)
The HH would read
UTG
UTG+1
YUour name
MP
CO
etc.

And the other players would have their HH vased on where they sit.

But I still want them immediately put in the hard drive.

Not that this changes anything whatsoever. (i.e. my opinion means nothing)

[/ QUOTE ]

That's what I meant. Giving out the positions not the names. You can't have your HHs put on your harddrive immediately because it would be to easy to immediately rename the positions into player names if you are still playing on that table.

But the positions change EVERY hand.

UTG in hand 1 becomes BB in hand 2 and so on.

So you could not say: UTG = PartyPokerSucks because in the next hand UTG might be PartyPokerRocks

I've never played poker in a B&M casino but I imagine that if I brought in a notebook and started taking player notes I might get escorted from the building. Yet poker sites all have player note capabilities. These sites must be unethical!

[/ QUOTE ]

I play mostly in B&Ms - I have a notebook, and take notes whenever I want. So do most professional players.
