Default Re: What\'s the Most Raises You\'ve Gone Heads Up?

here's a +25er

Villain is UTG, has me covered

Pre Flop
UTG calls $2, Hero Raises, 6 folds, Button calls, SB folds, BB calls, UTG calls
(pot ~16)

Flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG bets 2, Hero Raises, Button folds, SB folds, UTG calls

UTG bets, Hero raises, UTG Re-Raises, Hero Re-Raises, UTG Re-Raises, Hero Re-Raises, UTG Re-Raises, Hero Re-Raises, UTG Re-Raises, Hero Re-Raises....
Dealer finally asks "are you both going to keep re-raising?" UTG says yeah and so do I.
We flip our cards up:

UTG shows J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] for two pair, Kings and Jacks.
Hero shows full house.
Final pot was just over $400. (100 BBs)

Villain, who is sitting immediatley to my right looks at me and says, "I really thought you were bluffing."

Wow. Practically surreal. I would have asked him for his address, put him on my Christmas Card list and invited him to join me anytime I was back in Vegas.

I went 11 bets on the flop live b/f having villain river his two outer. Don't play crpytos.

Edit - I don't think he looked at his hand until around bet 6 though (We capped (5 bet) PF as well).

i disagree. I think a significant edge can be gained by knowing how many steps to dance with a willing partner on the river.

Also, why play where you're forced to stop betting the nuts with someone willing to pay?

HAHAHA, nice odds. Did you have to put all the reraising in by hand? when I tried that with a hand it said invalid format until I got it down to 4 bets per street.
