Why do you want to eliminate weak aces, considering you are 70% against them? [/ QUOTE ] Good point, but do I really want 3-4 more callers who really like the pot odds being laid out by from flat calling the minraise? |

Meh, no, but do you really want 3-4 callers (which is still likely at an $11) if you re-raise and then face a flop of KT4 with half of your stack in the pot?

I suppose not, thanks for the input, time to go to work...
In case anyone cares, I called and SB had QQ which held up. |

It would be far better to reraise from the button, say, because if you reraise and are called (because you are still in early/mid position), your position on the flop's going to be nasty. That's why I wouldn't reraise here, not because of the strength of your hand or the fact his minraise is pathetic (which of course it is).
Bad luck in running into QQ, but I still think you made the right call. |

I'd just flat call PF and double up post flop.
It would take a pretty solid read here, but I dislike getting it all in pf in l1 with JJ. But yah, if he is dumb enough to be doing this with like 66+ then I'd call but racing against overcards at this point isn't what you should be looking for. |

[/ QUOTE ] Uhh, I would gladly race against overcards at this point. Easily. However, you have to factor in the fact he could have QQ, KK, and AA as well. This is why I fold. If he showed me overcards, I would call. |
