Really, didn't notice he has you covered my much.
Then the only explanation, that he just didn't care about the 30$.
Nobody is that bad.

I don't want to seem like a paranoid online poker is rigged type, but could he have the random number generation cracked?

[/ QUOTE ]

betgo, you have over 6k posts and you're actually writing something like that?

the guy clearly sucks at poker, he saw that he had a "straight draw" and he chased it down. a terrible player still has a chance to win. maybe you were 1/50 to win and he was 1/250, but he still has a chance.

Last night, at a $20 rebuy, I pumped chip leader all in preflop with AA and he called with KoQo. It was early on in the tournmanet and I am still confounded as to why he would let his lead go with such small blinds. I thought he had the # generator cracked too, but then I won the hand.

There are all sorts of explanations, the simplest being that this guy is a fucko. Also, there are some card sites that are EASILY more identifiable as "rigged" than others. I'm not sure where "Paradise Poker" stands here.

I play mostly on Stars and Paradise and some on Party and UB. I have never seen anything I thought was fishy on any of these. I am sure Stars in OK.

I know there is some problem with collusion and such at higher limits ans ome sites are more aggressive about dealing with it than others.

When I first started playing, I tried playing limit holdem cash games on Pacific. They had like 70% seeing the flop. I played very tight and consistantly got hands like 52o. I lost my buyin and stayed clear. Probably just paranoid.

I knew I would get flamed for posting crap. I just thought it was strange the guy won the tournament. I guess a loose fish who gambles has a chance to get lucky.

Sorry you didn't get an invite.

Yeh, I know. I get so many bad beats a day. You have to roll with the punches.

Yup, you're onto me; it's really that green-eyed monster envy that's typing for me at the moment. Congratulations, I hope you win the ME seat, so we can all hear your whimsical, exciting tales about how some donkey hit a 4-outer on you for $10k.

Edit: Oh, and then we'll be treated to 30 posts on your exciting new theories of how scramble-riffle-riffle-box-riffle-cut is OMG RIGGED!

Not saying I haven't done it, but you basically committed your entire stack with QQ on an A-high flop at a buy-in where one of your biggest edges comes from your opponents' inability to fold TP coupled with their propensity to call preflop raises with any A. The fact that your nemesis in this case was an even bigger idiot than the type that you should have feared in this hand looks sort of like results-oriented anger. I felt I was pot committed on the flop. There was a good chance no one had an ace and I had about a 13% win rate if someone did. Check folding at this point would be weak/tight. Raising pot OOP with QQ against all the limpers was also the only play.

Villain was also getting pot odds, so his push may not be quite that atrotious. He was 19% on the flop against my hand and better if his backdoor flush draw was good or if I didn't have a pp or pair on the board (which is pretty unlikely as the preflop raiser on an ace high board).

I am going to have to be careful about starting threads like this and be real nice to the mods. I want an invitation to next year's allstar freeroll.
