I would play it the same of course I would get shown A2o. Any A is a good A.

Looks good, I play it the same way. Since everyone is guessing a hand, I'll guess A2. [/ QUOTE ] A2 and 55 are good guesses. Those are about the only hands that make sense based on the pf action and river raise. Edit: Villian also might have spiked two pair with the 5 but the preflop raising would be crazy right? Edit 2: Villian also might have ATs and just have played it very passively until the end when he realized he might have the best hand. I just think that in some cases at my level hand reading doesn't really mean much since the players are so erratic. If anyone is interested Ill post the results tonight when I get home from work. I just think that in some cases at my level hand reading doesn't really mean much since the players are so erratic. [/ QUOTE ] I often think this way too, but I think it's a bad habit. You've got build in a factor for some level of unpredictablility, but this is frustration thinking and something that I try to suppress. That's why I typed the 76 comment. It makes no sense, but this is one of those hands where you made good plays and everything you tried backfired. Try to raise preflop to limit the field? Reraise behind and a big field. Go for a flop check-raise? Checked around. Value bet river? Raise behind you. Now if he shows a hand that makes no sense, you say "F this, I'm not even trying to read hands anymore", and you stop playing your best. |

Reads: Blinds both have VPIP's around 35% everyone to my left has VPIP's roughly 65-100%. Table was perfect. [/ QUOTE ] Perfect table, worst possible table position. Other than that, nh, played well. -Jaxx |
