Default Re: NL100 Overpair vs. TAG on ugly board

The advice in this thread is really weird.

I would 4bet preflop, chances are you get MP out of the way and play it heads up against a min 3bet donk.

As played, after preflop action, MP virtually always has 22-TT. I think on the flop, he usually makes a strong donk with a strong hand because he can't necessarily depend on CO to make a cbet and the flop is fairly drawy. So I would say his range is a set or maybe TT. As much of a nit as this guy is, I play it the same way.

guys,it seems like people are giving advice without really reading the hh. CO minraised pf,not MP. MP has played this hand like a pp that hit a set. however, this is the kind of hand where having a read other than stats matters. does MP think ur a maniac? does MP think everyone always has AK. will MP call utg raises with a hand like A10s? I think with no real reads I call down, but remembering some of his previous hands makes a huge diference.

Preflop I like the 4 bet.

On the flop I like betting out. Or check raising if you think someone else will bet and you think you have the best hand.

As played I raise the turn all in barring a read that tells you to do otherwise.
