NL100 Overpair vs. TAG on ugly board

I reevaluated the turn and didn't want to play allin on the river here. What would you have done in that spot? MP3 calls 2 times and I guess with his stats he does that with a medium pocketpair and could easily hit his set here. I noticed that i am to scared sometimes but i think here fold was correct.
He leads immediatelly even though he is not the proflop aggressor....

Re: NL100 Overpair vs. TAG on ugly board

what do you put mp on on this flop that you would call his bet and then fold to a river bet?
I would just bet the flop myself, hope to get called by tt, jj and shove all in against a raise.
btw, i also like to 4-bet this pre against this stupid minraise and shove almost any flop.

Re: NL100 Overpair vs. TAG on ugly board

because of the min-re-raise.
he's 16.14 so he's raising pretty much all of the hands he's playing. His 3-bet is so weak that I'm very happy to 4-bet to 18 or 20 here and fold to a push.

But to me a minreraise always indicated "don't fold to me". Was that completely wrong?

Re: NL100 Overpair vs. TAG on ugly board

that depends on the player, min-raises preflop are usually weak donkey plays. either way you now have a good shot at making a good 4-bet that will build the pot for you in position and also give you a lot more info about villian's hand.

this guy is a nit, OP played it fine, 4 betting this guy without some type of read on his min3bets is suicidal
