I am going to keep my comments to the new release for now. Questions regarding the points for NL game can be directed to [email protected]. I can assure you that they are taking everything into consideration. Concerns about the download can be directed to [email protected]. Any possible concern regarding the safety of the download is taken seriously.

The hot topic debate is going to be about the new Sit&Go structure (time vs. hands). There was a lot of thought put into this and a lot of feedback gathered from players. Some players are going to love it and some will hate it. The overwhelming majority of players wanted the changed.
The regular Sit&Gos will not take much longer than the old ones, and we will have Speed Sit&Gos that take 1/2 the time.
This seems to be one of those things that players will get used to and forget we ever did it the other way.

More to follow...

Dear PartyPoker Rep:

Please comment on the issue of HHF files / aka the temp hand history files that used to get written to our hard drive that allowed us to collect stats on OBSERVED GAMES. We all noticed that they were no longer written to our computers in the Beta.

Was this a conscious decision by Party? They don't want us to be able to datamine observed hands anymore??

Hand histories were always intended for the players that were dealt into the hand. It was a conscious decision to stop writing them for observers.

FWIW, I don't mind not datamining, nearly as much as not being able to bring up a table and see my pt stats for it before I decide to join the waitlist. I imagine if there's no longer any way to do that, you're going to see a great deal of table hoping.

edit: deleted my reply to keep the thread smaller.

Will there be speed limit tables, like there are at stars and pokerroom?
