Default Re: WPX 5/10 vs PS/FTP 5/10

Does anyone think the WPX 5/10 game is more or less difficult than the PS or FTP 5/10 game.

If you do think it is more difficult what game is it equivalant to?

The WPX 5/10 game is overly tight, but I wouldn't say it's necessarily difficult... especially if I could start winning > 49% of my showdowns. There's a handful of regulars that look to be decent, but by and large, it's filled with people who flat out suck, or guys who think they're great. They, of course, suck.

The PS 5/10 and 10/20 games are both looser by a decent margin. In 2007, I've played 17,000 hands at WPX 5/10; 12,000 hands at PS 10/20 and 9,000 hands at PS 5/10. The ASF are 28, 33 and 35 respectively. But, it's hard to beat the automatic 2.5BB/100 winrate at WPX 5/10.

In terms of equivalent limits, I'm not really sure. In some respects, WPX 5/10 plays closer to 30/60, but there's also a lot less re-stealing at WPX 5/10 than I encountered at PS 30/60. But, there are some WPX players who are willing and capable of testing you post-flop.
