Default WPX 5/10 vs PS/FTP 5/10

Does anyone think the WPX 5/10 game is more or less difficult than the PS or FTP 5/10 game.

If you do think it is more difficult what game is it equivalant to?

15/30?

30/60?

The real question you should be asking yourself is which is more profitable, not more difficult.

Good point, here is what I am trying to figure out. I am much more profitable at WPX, and that is not including the rake, and I am trying to figure out what the differece is?

If your winrate is more at WPEX before the rakeback, I think you've answered your question as to where you should play.

As for difficulty, IMO, I think we all have different styles of playing that work well in different games. Your style might just play better to the games at WPEX. That in turn might lead you to the conclusion that the games there are "easier" when in fact they are just more suited to your style. The games at WPEX play differently than any other site which can be profitable for some but frustrating for others.

Or you're running hot.

Thanks, that is helpful. I could be running hot. I have played about 10K hands at the site, which I realize is a small amount compared to many. I think the style as oppposed to difficluty is probably a good way to look at it, but, I am not sure what the style difference is exactly.

I seem to be able to put people on hands better and know when to showdown and when not to (for my level of a poker player).

There is more preflop raising and isolation, which, seems to make it easier to make decisions for me.

I know it is not a lot of hands, but, that doesn't mean that there isn't a differece of style in play at the same level between the sites. And, that is what I am trying to find out if other people have experience with.

yes there is a difference in style of play. which site is more profitable will depend on how YOU play, not on how THEY play.

Is there a particular reason to be a huge throbbing [censored] in this thread, Bob?
