I don't think you read/understan the OP or my response. There is nothing inconsistent with OP's premise and Neteller recently allowing withrdrawals via the ATM card. Neteller was/in not trying to screw US customers. They are simply caught right in the crosshairs of our Gov's rampage. They have beeen made victims, and now in return their US customers are as well.

Problem is that unlike USA government neteller actually has to obey both their local and international laws. So they can not keep money of innocent USA citizens when USA government is breaking laws.

that reply shows just how little you know, they are not committing a crime by delaying giving you your money, the same as if you went to the bank and asked for 2 million in cash and they told you that you would have to wait until tommorow, my credentials speak for themselves I will be happy to go toe to toe with anyone on here and the bottom line is NETELLER IS publically traded and although not on the any of the us eschanges is still subject to certain guidlines, also think for a second, the owners of the major sportsbooks overseas are not stupid people, why would a merchant continue to take neteller overseas if they were not getting their funds, the certainly have a lot more at stake then all of us they would just bail and cut bait , not stick with them and contiue to pay out and not get there money

it makes sense that now that they are taking away our ability to wager online that the brokerage houses are going to be the big winners. The problem gamblers are going to have to go back to playing the stock market (a much more "rigged" game than poker ever was)

What worries me is not a single person has a reasonable excuse for why neteller is not paying people.

I am not one of those "the sky is falling" people who think that neteller is going to steal everyone's money ....... but ..... they might as well.... no way they can ever do business in the US again, not because of the DOJ, but because who in their right mind would do business with them again?? If it was a priority for them to get us our money they would do it. But they are trying to squeeze every last dollar they can by leaving withdrawal options where they got paid their percentage open. If this was not the case do you still think they would let peer to peer transfers still work.

Let's see. Neteller is dependent upon EFT which they now can't use. They normally process less than $5m a day (using EFT) and now you expect them to pay out circa $200m in a couple of days via check.

They don't have the setup to produce and send this many checks, they have there own mirror (small) problem which is they have let people pass funds to sites and not received the cash via EFT so need to know what people's real balance is before sending out checks and the money is invested they don't have immediate access to $200m but can get access to it given time.

It's not just reasonable it is pretty much inevitable that there will be delays paying out.

If I were one of Neteller's lawyers, I'd tell them to 3 bet and fold to a cap... but I don't know much about this stuff.
