[ QUOTE ]
I say this with no ego, if this is a question that you consider post-worthy, maybe you should move down and play 2 to 3 thousand more hands. Once again, this is not a jab at you - it's just I've found this type of honesty is always helpful. The other thing, just to give you an idea what I'm talking about, is that you are raising to 45 not to get him to fold, but to build a big enough pot to commit him now and get his $$. You're not deep enough to make this raise and consider folding - this is not an information raise or anything like that. You have raised to 45, there really is no question to be asked. Being that there was one to be asked, I feel like you need to do some more thinking about the fundamentals of the game. [/ QUOTE ] Your honesty is appreciated! I'm not feeling entirely sure about this hand, so my understanding of the fundamentals probably are shaky. I have just started out at 100NL, basically just giving it a try after having earned a big enough bankroll for it at 50NL. I did run incredibly well last couple of weeks at this level, so I could be overestimating myself. My overall winrate at 50NL is $3.86/100 over approx 37k hands, which I suppose isn't especially good. [ QUOTE ] Just call the check raise. As played you are pot commited and should call even if he turns over top two. (You need about 22% equity and you have 29% against top two) pokenum -h ad ac - th 6d -- td 6h 3d Holdem Hi: 990 enumerated boards containing Td 3d 6h cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV Ac Ad 288 29.09 702 70.91 0 0.00 0.291 6d Th 702 70.91 288 29.09 0 0.00 0.709 [/ QUOTE ] Thanks for providing this calculation. Any site of program you used to do this? I 3 bet the flop because I thought that he could raise me with quite a few hands, like TP. If I just call, aren't there quite a few scary cards that can come and give me a difficult decision? |

Would appreciate if someone would tell me how to make them! |
