3-1 yeah i'd call. I'd also just call the flop as you have the Ad.

So villain will do this with a wide enough range of hands for a call to be profitable?

How does this sound?:
Likely hands that beat us: TT, 66, 33.
Likely hands that we are ahead of: AT, AdXd, Ad6d, 45, 7d8d, 8d9d, 7d9d.

I say this with no ego, if this is a question that you consider post-worthy, maybe you should move down and play 2 to 3 thousand more hands. Once again, this is not a jab at you - it's just I've found this type of honesty is always helpful.

The other thing, just to give you an idea what I'm talking about, is that you are raising to 45 not to get him to fold, but to build a big enough pot to commit him now and get his $$. You're not deep enough to make this raise and consider folding - this is not an information raise or anything like that. You have raised to 45, there really is no question to be asked. Being that there was one to be asked, I feel like you need to do some more thinking about the fundamentals of the game.

Just call the check raise.

As played you are pot commited and should call even if he turns over top two. (You need about 22% equity and you have 29% against top two)

Then what do you do when he bets turn? Not sure I understand calling the check-raise if we are folding to a turn bet.

You re-evaluate. You don't know he is going to bet the turn. If he does you have more information on his hand and you can fold or call depending on the card and the bet size etc.
