nothing else in Northern Illinois casinos...Harrahs Joliet has no room, EMpress Joliet closed its room last year...

[/ QUOTE ]

I was hoping one of these two had a poker room. I have a court appearance tomorrow morning in Joliet and Harrahs is right next door to the courthouse.

Driving to NW Indiana is a pain? Brother, "you ain't seen nuthin' yet". There will be all the poker action you can handle in that same area, in just about 8 months.

are you referring to Horseshoe? if so, i thought it was supposed to be pushed to 2008.

10/20 game never goes a Potowatamie. Go up there and you will see why....all that no-limit action

[/ QUOTE ]

I was up there today playing 30-60 with a $3 rake, they also had a 10-20 going but I'm not sure if it was a $3 or $4 rake.

[/ QUOTE ]

Are the bigger games consistantly running at the Pot yet?

Both times I've been there since the new room opened - once on a Saturday night, and once on a Tuesday late morning/early afternoon - they had one 10/20 game and one 30/60 game going.

The 30/60 starts at noon on Tuesdays. It's a featured game, meaning if you started the game the previous Tuesday you have a guaranteed seat next Tuesday if you show up at noon. This is really the only way they can get it consistanly going otherwise not enough players would show up on the same day, at the same time to start a game. Hopefully it will get a buzz going and more and more people will show up to play limit.

I was at the Pot on Thursday night. The biggest limit game they had going that night was one table of 5-10.
