I just want to add to this thread that the legality of this setup is in serious question per the Legislation forum. I'm trying to find some more information.

I think the idea is a little silly, however, it demonstrates that there will always be solutions as long as there is money to be made.

I think a more middle ground solution is a poker site (Absolute?), who has positioned themselves to very little, if any risk from the US.

And the same for a new e-wallet. The current ones were all vulnerable, you can bet future ones will be bullet proof based on the new legislation.

I think what would be great about this site, is mostly that it would give u.s. donks a way to 'deposit' that they currently dont have. For twoplustwoers, we may or may not used it, depending on quality of deals, and if they open us up to sites like party, and others that booted americans.

But for u.s. players who want to play, with no way to get money on, this would be great. And if it were easier than neteller was in past, which was blocked even in past by some c.c. and banks, it would be better than ever.

They only offer sites that are already available to US players.

Looks like a nice scam someone has going.

I went to their forums and from what I read they are not up and running yet. Here is a link to their FAQ http://www.usppinc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=150
It has a little more info the the front page of the website. They also have a little story about the expo and apparently have spoke to a few of the poker rooms. I have no idea what to make of any of this. Expo info http://www.usppinc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=150

Exactly.
All this operation does is basically offer a deposit service to sites that continue to operate in the US.
(e.g. since you're still logging on and playing from within the US, obviously they don't offer any service to access sites that have booted US players).

So see this operation for what it is: a very, very, very bad deposit/withdrawal option. Just wait a week or two to see how things shake out with the sites re: deposit options, and you'll never need to worry about this sucker's bet.

Your advice has always been sound. I'm sure you're right here to. Just looked interesting at first.

Yeah, prob not best idea for twoplustwoers who have BR, just are hassled by having to have checks mailed, etc. But how about donk sitting at home, would like to play at ftp, but has no way to deposit,is this bad for him (and us) too?

I know the guy who started this from Hollywood Poker days - he was pretty active in the "Chat Lounge" area as well as their forum. User name "Da Duck." Here's a link to one of his posts (chosen kind of at random):

FWIW, he never seemed to be in it for anything more than our right to play poker. That was my impression at least.

I also have a friend who was considering going into business with him selling some air conditioning additive (don't know more than that) but I never heard what became of it.
