I think it depends on what you have done during the session. If you've been calling down a lot with A high, I think you can find a fold on the turn. If you have been folding a lot, then call down.
I usually mix this up. Sometimes randomly call down, sometimes fold. |

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Against this guy [/ QUOTE ] Serious question: what do 54/18 preflop stats tell us about his river play? What I mean is, can we really extrapolate those out-of-line pf numbers to get some kind of hints about his likely postflop tendencies? Guy. [/ QUOTE ] i think thats a great question. what do we know about his post flop play. why not try raising the flop? why not get more information? if we raise him there he can call, we may check through depending on the turn. lets say we hit our Q, he bets into it. he may have us beat but most of the time we are good there and pretty sure he will call down. even if we miss we can bet into him on the turn and put pressure on him. we want to give him more chances to make mistakes in this hand. but the most imprtant question maybe, do we take too much for granted when we see the 54/18? how many hands have we seen him play? has he been winning (his table image)? whats his agg stats? doc |
