[ QUOTE ]
You could play a single heads up match at a time and make a small living right? Let's say that you win 2/3 matches at the $55 limit and you can play 3 an hour on average. Then you make 35$ per hour. Not bad. Indy [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I believe Eugeneel and Dreamclown (HU specialists) strictly single table. Of course they're playing 200/400 and up... |

If poll is asking whether or not there are people making a living single-tabling, then the answer is yes.

Once upon a time...in the days before internet-poker...there were full-time live-poker pros who proved that one can obviously make a living playing only 1 table at a time.
And even then it was in an area before automatic-shufflers. So they were getting even fewer hands than a player gets on just one online-table. The obvious answer is that of course it is possible to make a living playing only 1 table at a time. However, if you are only playing 10/20 then you best be prepared to not make a huge amount of cash. A 3/6 player at 4-6 tables would likely be able to make more than a 10/20 single-tabler in some situations (although the single-tabler may have the energy to grind out more hours per week I suspect). |

In some ways, playing one table is harder then playing 3 or 4. The only people I think are crazy are the 8-tablers.
I can do 4, but at higher stakes I'm more comfortable with 3. It varies alot on the game I'm playin, for instance SnGs are easy to multi table since it is a lot of preflop all ins. |

Me too. I hadn't even bothered voting...but I gave my nay right now because I wanted to see what you were talking about.
Weird. There's absolutely NO WAY that it is mandatory to play more than 1 table in order to play full-time online-poker professionally for income. I'm not sure how often Neverwin and guys like that multi-table...but I'm SURE some of those high-stakes heads-up online specialists don't do too much multi-tabling. And they are almost CERTAINLY making a better living than my 6-tabling ass. Stupid poll. Stupid results. |
