You lose the follow up bet too.

Single tableing the 100/200 for 1BB/100 would suit most people just fine. Or playing high stakes short handed. In fact, even I could probably make more single-tableing 10/20 6-max than I could in my current job.... not neccessarily the best way to approach things however!

If you could 6-8 table a 5-10 game for 1bb/100, but you cant beat the 100/200 games, then multitabling lower limits may just work out for the best. However, playing that many tables wont make you too much of a better player so that is why I believe it depends on the skill of the player in order to answer this question.

I think you could make a living playing only one table online if it was big enough, but I think you could do better playing live if you only want to play one table.

No one that can 1 table and make enough per hour to do it for a living (Anything over $30 would be ok I guess) would just play one table.

You could play a single heads up match at a time and make a small living right? Let's say that you win 2/3 matches at the $55 limit and you can play 3 an hour on average. Then you make 35$ per hour. Not bad.

Us mere mortals must play multiple tables, i.e. those of us who can't beat 10-20, 15-30 etc. If you're playing 3-6 or 5-10 then you're going to need to supplement limit by volume. If you're a very good player there are plenty of limits available that would allow a person to play a single table and have an earn that would allow them to play for a living.

Bad poll. Depends totally on stakes. You can't make a living playing 1 table of 2-4(well not what I consider a living), but you can surely make a decent living playing 1 table of 15-30 and above. Stakes are basically equated with skill so this would be totally subjective based upon stakes first and the required skill by-product.
