The only guy in this thread whose name I didn't know was Robert Costanzo. Good job.

I didn't know Peter Stormare's name (Fargo, Minority Report, others) till I read an article about those VW commercials he did.

Sweet Donald Moffat. Two of the greatest eyebrows in movie history. Also, the late great J.T. Walsh:

One guy I thought of is Miguel Sandoval. Of the three things I really remember him being in (Clear and Present Danger, Get Shorty, and the NBC flop "Kingpin"), he plays a drug dealer. Talk about a stereotype. He was in an episode of "Law and Order," where he played a college professor. Apparently he's also been in a bunch of TV shows. I think the same can be said for Joaquim de Almeida, (being stereotyped as a drug dealer...he was also in "Kingpin" and Clear and Present Danger) but since his appearance on 24, I think more people know who he is.
I've heard that Miguel Sandoval runs a Hispanic casting agency out of Santa Fe, New Mexico...he cherry-picks the good roles for himself and lets the others get the dregs. ScottieK |

Mike Starr - he's been in everything. Doesn't even have a pic at IMDB but has 137 movie and TV credits listed. I only know who he is because I saw him the other day in NYC and had to try and figure out his name. He's been in CSI NY, Goodfellas, Ed Wood, Scrubs, The Money Pit, The Last Dragon (earliest movie I remember seeing him in) and a whole slew of others.

I think John C Riley has played the most supporting actor roles I know, yet has never played the main character.

Miguel Sandoval also guest-starred on Seinfeld as the owner of a bodega that runs cockfights in the back, so he's broken through the stereotypes.... oh wait.
I always remember him in Clear and Present Danger: "They're stealing my money!" |
