My favorite is Robert Costanzo, and I can't find a single link that does him justice. Most famous roles:

--Mobster Alphonse Giardella in Season One of "NYPD Blue"
--Cop who tickets Bruce Willis at the start of "Die Hard 2"
--Guy who thought his wife was sleeping with Mike Tyson in "Honeymoon in Vegas"
--Had a big role in "Total Recall", but I never saw it.

He's probably my favorite because I met him once, and he was a nice guy.

James Tolkan is a pretty good example of a guy who used to pop up everywhere, but no one ever knew his name. There is no pic on his IMDB page, but you will know him from:

Top Gun ("You screw up just this much, and you'll be flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog**** out of hong kong.")
