Due to the fact that at some of the regulars in the big game are wired-up, hardcore, action-junkie gamblers who could pass by the craps table and dump more loot than a stoned lottery winner walking his girlfriend through Bloomingdales, it may be worth it.

I'm not sure if I agree with you, but you still get points for the mental image.

Hi Bigfishhead,

It makes me sick everytime I hear stories about the "big Game" players taking advantage of anyone in awe of them.

Rake and comps are at the discretion of management. Dealers being requested should only be done with a financial understanding that benefits the dealer at the players or managements expense.

Anyone who thinks these guy's will remeber the generosity of Caesers poker room is dreaming. This clique is just a pack of locusts that will move on when the well dries up.

Okay you take this for what it is worth.

I played at Belterra friday and I hadn't seen Chris ( a guy that used to deal at Ceasars) so I asked his buddy Charles if Chris still worked there, Charles says, Hell no he is out in Vegas at Caesar's dealing one thousand dollars per hand and they tipped him $2 for his entire down, then he kinda laughed just a little. Charles and Chris are good friends so don't take that laugh the wrong way.

If you are at Caesar's LV and you see a really good dealer (probably sporting a shaved head)named Chris, you tell him, Andy southern Indiana said hello.

Would the dealer make more than $18 a half hour in a low limit game?

I don't blame them for taking advantage of any comps Caesar's gives them--hell, harrah's has enough money--but the way they go through dealers is seriously 1.4. In a bad way.

Yeah seriously, you can't blame anyone for getting all the free comps they can get, but how cheap they are towards the dealers is ridiculous. Are all the players of the big game that way or are there at least a couple who tip decently?

I wouldn't mind making 18 dollars a half hour. 72,000 a year plus the base salary, minus breaks. I wouldn't want to have to deal with crap from those low life, high limit players.

ps. I did get a job, at Caesers, but not doing poker.
