I picked "hope it's too hard to enforce" but the reality is that I *expect* that it would be too hard to enforce.

It's apparent that a lot of people here don't realize what a felony conviction can do to wreck the rest of your life.

Under the Washington state law, it looks like they can charge you with a felony count for each day you play, each different site you play. I mean, theoretically, I suppose they could charge you with many counts of this felony if they decided to prosecute. Each session at each site would be a seperate felony count.

Someday (maybe) somebody will get prosecuted for playing online poker. When it happens, we'll all hear about it. Until then, you're probly safe (unless YOU are the one who happens makes the news).

If you do get arrested, your site ought to at least throw you a big freeroll, or something.

My statement:

Most american's are too religious. They do what their religious government tell them to do. How it's even possible: playing poker in the internet is a crime. In Finland and Sweden the internet poker is of course legal and EEC winnings are tax-free too!

Why you guys take this sh*t from your government? America is starting to look like Soviet Union. Note I said is starting to look like.

Republicans are basically communist in disguise.

Yes they are capitalist, but so was nomenklatura. Not openly, but they were greedy and they had everything they wanted.
