If it's made a felony in my state, I would consider moving. It's not about being hardcore when it's your livelihood.

As of June 7th it will be a Class C Felony in my state... and they can have my mouse when they pry it from my cold, dead fingers...

Online poker was outlawed in my country, 1,5 years ago, by a guy who makes less money than I do.
When I see him in court, I'll buy him an icecream.

My golf game can use a little brush up. The only problem with this thought...

Poker = money coming in
Golf = money going out

If it's a misdemeanor or unenforceable law, screw 'em I'll keep playing.

If it's state law, I'm moving.

If it's a federal felony, I may consider finding a job in Asia and play poker in my spare time. Or just move to China/Taiwan/Thailand and play full time, I'd live like a king there!

I have a wife and two kids and a good job. I can't afford the hassle. I will not be moving back to Washington state, that is for sure. If my state stepped up efforts, I would probably quit.

The problem if a law like that encompassed say all of the USA would not be whether or not pro players should go underground or leave the country, but rather how it would affect the casual player who all the pros prey on.
