[ QUOTE ] if you can say that 'if your a winning player you bankroll only needs to be one buyin' , then its the same for a losing player. because both have great ROR [/ QUOTE ] You aren't ruined though if your roll is easily replenished. The difference between a winning and a losing player with 1 buyin is that the winning player can reasonably expect to make back more than his buyin. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I realize you arent ruined. neither player is ruined. but say your playing a SNG. if you are a winning player, about 60% of the time you are still going to need to rebuy |

So it then comes down to the utility of $220 to me in comparison to the time cost of qualifying. I really have no idea how much time or effort it would take to qualify. Just wondering what the rest of you think/would do in my spot. |

And as you should know, if you're a winning player your bankroll only needs to be 1 buyin so long as you can easily replenish your roll. Bankroll requirements also don't really apply to infrequent events. Edit: Ill probably end up buying straight in just because I'm much too lazy to actively play the sats. [/ QUOTE ]' its your call then. im a BR nit so i wouldnt. |

If I want to start playing a big Sunday tournament every week on a 3k roll, does it make more sense to buy in direct or sat in? [/ QUOTE ] it doesnt really make sense to do either with 3K imo. |

first, dont start off saying you have a 3k bankroll then say, oh, i got tons of other money to play with if i lose that. that would mean your bankroll isnt limited to 3k.
I would just use your accumulated fpp's to buy in. or cash. basicly, who cares, you got money, ya wanna play, play. |

P.S. Buy shirts, I'm playing the $11s tonight. |

So, I live in the sticks. Which means, when I go out and get drunk, I'm usually no where near my computer. Some strange circumstances have led to me being home after drinking way too much...and a 6'2" 240lb Canadian saying too much, is saying something......sooooo, here's my drunk post for the year....enjoy.
