btw let me make it clear that I don't doubt at all that bigjoe is a winning player, and he may very well be the biggest winning player and best sit and go player in the world. I really don't know. I just know that some of his comments and claims seem quite off to me. And the way in which he insults dozens of people while making these claims (ie all the "TERRIBLE" stars regulars) is even more offputting.

Haha - you may be good, but you're the mouthiest POS I've ever read on this site. Here's hoping you crash and burn...

Joe - why would you care about a $400 prop bet when that number of tournies is enough to get the porsche (well if they were all $1Ks)?

400 dollar prop bet? Wah wah wah, I have lots of money, you all suck, my dads bigger than yours, etc.

FYP

Oh god, I seem to remember some retard making a 100k prop bet at evens, when the proper odds were about 7-1 or so, I guess you would make the same bet, why not 2 or 3 million, I'm sure there is action out there for this one, because you have little to no chance of hitting that target (10% ROI NIRB) over a decent sample (2000+).

I didnt realize that Curtains could just make up random definitions of economic terms and then claim that everyone on 2+2 should go by them or they're "morans". I think whenever you refer to the return on investment you made up you should use cmut (curtains made up term). That way we won't have these misunderstandings.

This is a common 2+2 practice to exclude rakeback, Im pretty sure almost everyone who is a regular poster here realizes this.

There's only one way to settle this properly.

my 530 speed roi was about 15% over 1800, I went on a bad run on my last 400 or so i believe partly bc that was when party announced they were closing so i was 18 tabling on both party and stars and im pretty sure that messed me up horribly. But even if you include those last 400 tournaments my roi is 10.7% over 2139 (thats not including rakeback, which would then bump both those numbers up another 1.7%)

After saying this like 4 posts ago I think you gave up your rights to lecture anyone. Ever. About any subject.
You're weaseling, just admit you were too exuberant about the 10% being easy stuff.

Perhaps a 10% roi is achievable, perhaps it is not. I would bet it is. I think from the way people have been talking a even odds bet would be on like 4-5%. The reason I have become so "mouthy" is because there is a tendency on this forum for one or two people to say something and then everyone else just blindly agrees with them, despite the fact that they might not have any idea what they are talking about. All of the comments about the 1ks being unbeatable, and passing rake around etc are just wrong, and just because one or two well known posters say something (especially when they have not played in one of these tournaments) does not mean it is true or credible. Everyone I have spoken to who actually knows what they are talking about on this subject have agreed that the high buy in stars sngs will be beaten soundly by the party pros. But all of us could be wrong, we will just have to see. And I never specifically said any of the stars regulars are terrible or idiots. I am just saying that there are enough bad players to make the 1ks very profitable for a few players, and beatable for others, just like the lower stakes.

So please Brass, will you remove your curse, bc I'm a little scared to play now...especially after monday night...stupid bears...
