Time in a Bottle, Corner of the Sky (from Pippin), Stand by Me, Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me - were all mellower songs that were not Bo's typical southern rock. He certainly showed more range than Chris has, so far at least.

Chris really needs to do a ballad or something softer this week so we can see if he's capable of something besides the yelling. He actually sounded pretty good in the cheesy Ford commercial, and he wasn't yelling for once.

I'm not saying he's not talented, just that I don't think someone with his style can win this competition, given the wide range of America's musical tastes. He appeals to rock fans and that's it. This is not Rock Star/INXS.

bye bye mcghee! old yoda, you had it to the tee. kevin, bucky, and kellie had some difficulty. i felt bad for stevie because most of the contestants butchered his songs. i'm still all about taylor hicks. that guy rules.
