**American Idol Finals: Stevie Wonder Night
 

Down to the 12 finalists and tonight they get to try their hand with songs by Stevie Wonder. This could get very ugly for some of the contestants.

I see a real struggle for Chris, Kevin, Bucky and Kellie. I forsee us saying farewell to Kevin this week. What do you think?

That's not really an arb, but I do think it's a good play. I had earlier done that and some other portfolio moves. Kellie and Taylor are the buys right now, more detailed info in that thread, and I think Bucky will be in the Bottom 3 but it's either Kevin or Melissa who will go home tomorrow night.

Unless that nefarious Kevin's plan succeeds to steal votes because he dumped his girlfriend, what a man. The kid has let the fame go to his brain just in time for him to get booted in the next couple weeks. Brilliant.

Taylor and Elliot will fair the best with Stevie Wonder songs. Both of these singers have the type of voices to nail these songs. Elliot sang Stevie songs on two previous episodes.

i said this in another thread...but here goes anyway.

the houston chronicle had an AI article today in which they predicted Mandisa as the winner.....that was pretty surprising to me.

they picked Chris as the runner up

The Stevie Wonder songbook is extensive and much more varied than most would credit. I think many of the contestants will do fine if they make the appropriate choice of song. Do think that Chris will struggle ( Stevie did not do any grunge rock) and Kellie and Bucky are ill suited for Stevie's songs.

And Kevin - well, Kevin and Stevie Wonder songs should not be allowed in the same building.
