Over what 15k in hands? This just is a good run mate.Your BB/100 will drop.Example i played 200nl today 91 hands 900 profit crazy BB/100.A few sessions like this in short hand peroids sustains crazy win rates but over say 60-100k hands you should take a look at the whole picture

[/ QUOTE ]Yeah. I'm not sure, so that's why I posted for feedback. I am going to go in there and calculate the confidence rate today, I'll post it here along with some other stats.

i have 90 hands at 5/10nl and i am a winning player, should i go pro?

[/ QUOTE ]Well, I think if you want a serious answer, you should make a serious post. Sarcasm is veiled insecurity.

You need:
a) Winrate over the sample (x)
b) Number of hands (n)
c) Standard Deviation (found on the "More Info" window) (s)

You can then calculate it as follows:

For a 95% Confidence Interval:
x + 1.96 * s/sqrt(n)

For a 99% Confidence Interval:
x + 2.5758 * s/sqrt(n)

Standard Deviations tend to be pretty large, so expect the ranges to be large, as well.

[/ QUOTE ]Ok, here's what PT shows currently on a set of:

12607 hands
11.73 BB/100
30.7998 Big Bets SD/100

So, uh, what's that do for you? How do I reverse engineer a confidence rate from those numbers?

the PT stdev formula is off and not a true measure of variation....this was recently discussed in the SSNL thread on 30+ buyin downswings

My IQ is above 150

[/ QUOTE ]

For a 150+ iq your spelling is pretty poor. Which makes me think youre not telling the truth about a lot of things

[/ QUOTE ]Actually, once you hit this high of an IQ you realize that people's petty observations about spelling are trivial in comparison to our place in the Multiverse. So I don't waste my time satiating lesser evolved person's desires, when I can do much more for the human race with my time. It's usually the "almost smart" people who try to correct people all the time.

Wow you must be smart if you crammed a bunch of the biggest words you know into a paragraph!

[/ QUOTE ]Wow, you must not be if you didn't learn from them (obviously based on your reply).

[/ QUOTE ]

You forgot to say Evan Evans, dont want to get ppl confused as to who made the post.

Oh alright. I get it. It's not clear if the SD or #hands needs to be in PER 100 or not.
