[ QUOTE ]
Interesting fact, employees of Ceasars Palace are not allowed to patron the Poker Room. [/ QUOTE ] Actually, thats a Harrah's rule. That rule is in place for every property they own. If you are a supervisor/manager, you are not allowed to gamble in any of their casinos. Also, if you work there, you are unable to hold a job anywhere else (casino or not) even if it doesn't conflict with your schedule. Gotta love Walmart...err...Harrahs. |

Did they take care of the dealers off-camera, or did the dealers just get colossally stiffed? [/ QUOTE ] I was talking about the cocktail waitresses on camera, but yes, they were very generous (I'm sure it came out of an expense account somewhere). In fact, in the entire fiasco, I think the waitress thing was the one place that GSN actually showed some class (although I would still have preferred to have the players tip on camera). [ QUOTE ]
Isn't a dealer's job roughly the same whether it is a ultra high limit game or a much lower limit game? [/ QUOTE ]Since the dealer's mistakes are more "costly" in the higher-limit game, it follows that the high-limit dealer must be a better one than a lower-limit dealer, ability-wise. I compare this to chess tournaments: In the regional finals, you'll get the standard (volunteer) arbiters. In the world championship, you'll get the cream of the crop - and they get paid handsomely as well. |
