Picture cards never flop when I raise with AK and, when they do, I lose anyway.

I push all-in post-flop with a potish size bet against one opponent. Opponent tanks while about five of the other players have a conference regarding whether it's a good idea to call or not.

Good one Rick. Cracked me up.

my 92o beats a passively played/slowplayed monster (AA, KK< etc)
-"Any two can win, right?"

Surprised no one says this anymore.

Mid-back swing mutter: "Look at the T..I..T..s on that woman in the window!" Pick an appropriate tee where this comment works, of course. And man does it work. Guaranteed shank.

Funny post. I guess it's right that people are the same all over. All of us that play serious B&M do hear these ad nauseum ( and certain regulars use their one fav over and over and over).

However, I do not let myself become annoyed. Because, you know how when the teachers were talking, Beavis and Butthead always heard " Blah, blah , blah ".

At the table all I hear is " Take my money, take my money, take my money". Which is why I always good naturedly smile at these remarks and the speaker is pleased becaused he thinks I heard what he said and it is obvioulsy funny.

So, everyone is happy.

This may not be a cliche but it is kinda funny when the college student with the sunglasses gets a bad beat and loses his $100 buy-in. You can see the fume coming and then the tears well up. This is more of a foxwoods thing.

Flipping up a busted 65s straight flush on the river: "Straight flush, les bitches!!"

[/ QUOTE ]

Reminds me, I did something like this last night after my gutshot+flush missed the river. I flipped up 7-high on the river and shouted, "7-high good!" One guy seriously answered, "You really think you were good there?"

Have to bring this topic back.

Why hadn't "No free checking at this bank" been brought up?

I hear it from EVERY dealer at the Ameristar in KC.
