Suppose for some reason (either something really good happens or something really bad is prevented from happening, whichever is more motivating to you) you have one hour to get totally hammered. A half-hour after you stop drinking, your BAC will be measured and you must score at least a .18, or roughly twice the legal limit. There is a bartender present who will serve or make you any drink to your exact specifications. He will always have your next drink ready before you finish the current one. The only rules are that you are not allowed to vomit until after you have been tested and all alcohol must be consumed by mouth. Assume you have recently eaten a light meal and are well-rested.
Beer is obviously out of the question; there's no way the stomach can hold that much liquid. Some people could handle shots, but I'm sure I would get sick if I tried to do 8 or so in an hour. Personally I would chose either a very strong screwdriver served with lots of ice or several bottles of good pinot gris. |

I think that you guys are underestimating how much liquor you would need to drink in an hour to sustain a 1.6 for 30 minutes. It would be alot of coke if you tried to do it with c&c's.

In high school when I was in a hurry to get drunk, I would two-fist it: left fist was Jack Daniels on ice, right fist was 50/50 Crown Royal and coke. Drink the Jack, chase with the rye and coke. The trick is to stop before you feel drunk, because you'll be drinking faster than your body can absorb...

Hurricane, LIT, something along those lines.
If it weren't for the bartender thing, I'd say fortified wine. Good luck finding that at a bar though. |
