[/ QUOTE ] He can pronounce it however he wants. He can also insist that people pronounce it BEL-tran, if he wants. He can move the accent where he wants it. I doubt he's gone out of his way to tell Jon Miller to pronounce it BELtran though. Miller is just trying to pronounce it correctly, that's all.

Why do people try so hard to be right on the internet?
The man says his name "CAR-los BEL-tran". Therefore, that is how it is pronounced. It's rather simple. But continue to dissect the details of accent placement, PHB. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyy, you win.
