Default I wanna loosen up...(Stats Post)

Alright, I've played a little over 11,000 hands of 1/2, 2/4, and 3/6 6 max. Here are my stats:

23.37/15.61/2.42

BB/100 - 1.1

The sample size isn't huge, but I think its pretty indicative of my "true" play at this point.

From what I've read (from players/posters whose play I respect), optimal 6 max VPIP seems to run over 25%. So in essence I want to loosen up, but I'm not sure where.

I'm not asking for a miracle cure or anything, I just wondered if any other players had stats similar to mine and made some adjustments to loosen up their play that I haven't thought about.

You have given no info on what you currently play from each position, so theres no way for sure of knowing where you can add hands.

Generally players with higher VPIPs, tend to steal more and defend more.

higher VPIP means those guys usually join a lot of 4 handed games.

Those pf stats are fine. 11k hands doesn't mean much. Maintain your pf standards and focus on postflop and you'll do well.

what is your folded bb to steal?

Mine was too high so I now defend more => vpip increases.

do a search on blind play and see how you stack up. It's hard to tell just from the information you gave us.

OP,

You don't need to loosen up. You need to find 1.5 more folds or value bets every 100 hands. They are there. My numbers at full 6max are about the same and im at 2.8 BB/100.

Winrate is not a direct function of VPIP, PFR, and AF. Think of it that way, and we'll all have locations like Wynton.

Loosening up is silly if you are going to decrease your winrate. Your goal should be to win more money than a 1.1BB/100. You do that by stealing more, defending better, making good reads and prudent folds.

Read hand questions, post some of your own. There has been a ton re blind stealing lately, so much so people at my tables now over defend and 3bet Q8o from the small blind at 5/10.
