I've been telling her much of the things that I have been getting told, eg, saying "<name>, I seriously think that you and I oughta just stop thinking about this so much" trying to imply much of the same.

Despite El diablos comments, there was definitely much more stuff going on in this weekend than have occured in the 3 years I've known this girl (including the last 15-18 months of hanging out with her on a near daily basis while school is in session). I get the impression that if this is going to happen, it's going to happen relatively soon. All El D's gotta do is make it past the first two weeks and by then I'll either have totally flipped on the girl or this will all have cooled off (though it's probably been at least 3 weeks since this thread started, so who knows) .

I almost start to cry for you everytime I see this thread Doc.

So this thread is a month old and your still haven't made it past first base. But you move slow so thats understandable I guess.

But then you say you have known her for 3 years and seen her everyday for over a year and still nothing has happened. She doesn't seem like the sexually shy type (based on your story of her involving random guys and a stripper) so it's not like we are going to accept that she is the type to go slow. Your her friend and thats it, and in most cases being best friends =/= sex.

Others have posted less alcohol, I disagree. Sure less alcohol for you so you can get it up if you get a chance, but definately more alcohol for her. Your best chance is drunken later regretted (by her) sex. Youve also played this well if your going for pity sex, because your approach has been pitiful thus far. Hey go all-out with the hopes of... drunken pity sex.
