If you had A7 or 88 or something else you'd want to play for all your money would u just lead into the raiser? You'd probably check raise all in. You would want to win something for your good hand which makes this bet look weird imo.

Actually I don't think so. I would have folded the flop and saved my chips for a spot where I could make the raise. If I had your hand in the BB and SB raised/called, I would have done it. Also if the SB folds on the flop, push all in for sure. However, even if the raiser folds, SB might as well call you with that stack with just about anything. Even if you push preflop, you will probalby be stuck with 2 callers with a crummy hand. Although you are in BAD shape, I would rather be the raiser with J6 than call two people with Q9o.
