Title: A Proposal Rejected Log: With 41 players left, a few players made the proposal that $50,000 be taken off of first place money and $10,000 be given to the next five players eliminated. However, there was an objection by Gavin Smith so play will continue and the money will be paid at 36 players. Ironically, Smith is one of the short stacks left in the tournament. LOL. It must have been really hard to steal from the players that supported this. Way to out yourself as playing scared. Although paying out only 36 out of a field of 592 is a bit ridiculous isn't it? |

Unless the chip leaders are not much ahead of the shorties (And that's not the case), why on earth would the chip leaders sign on to this? |

You are cutting first place money from 36.99% to 35.24% of the prize pool. Everybody except the very biggest stacks should be in favor of it. There is nobody who has a lock on first place money or a lock on cashing with 5 players left until the money and 36 players left after the money and the crapshoot nature of WPT events. |

Title: Carl "colson10" Olson Doubles Up Log: Barry Greenstein raises to $25,000 preflop and both Jason Stern and Carl Olson call. The flop comes Kh-10d-4s and Olson checks. Greenstein bets $50,000 and Stern folds. Olson moves all in and Greenstein calls. Greenstein shows Ks-9s and Olson has Ad-Jd. Olson catches his gutshot straight on the turn in the form of the Qh. The river is the 8d and Carl "colson10" Olson doubles up. |
