Default Somewhat deep 10-20 vs mehbameh

Mehbameh got 4.5k, I cover.
He raises 55 in cutoff, fish button cold calls, I call in SB with A5h, BB folds.
Flop is As 2s 5d.
Mehbameh bets 140, I raise to 330, he reraises to 780...
action?

edit: lead next time, rather than check-minraising like a huge vag.

it wasn't a min-raise, although I agree that it was too small. but i like a c/r since many people will read it as a draw, or as bluffing to try to get him to fold a pocket pair. and it gains a continuation bet since everyone CBs an ace high flop no matter what garbage they were raising.

and RD is awesome and not a big vag. wish he posted more.

I just wish he made 4.2k on this hand instead of what he did.

given that he has 55, I would fold.

One of those "I raise to 55 with 55" things? Nice read.

Renaud,

Welcome. How long have you been playing man's poker? Good to see you here!

This is one where if I wasn't happy about getting a big pot going, I'd either lead or check-call here rather than checkraise. Now he gets to conrol the size of the pot and momentum.

Since I decided to checkraise, I'm often calling here and checkraising allin on the turn.

But this is one of those weird hands where the tempo of the game, how I've been tangling w/ this guy, etc. play a big part in how I play it. Definitely no standard play here w/ these stacks and this hand.

Diablo,

He started playing NL after i absolutley owned him at our 2+2 2-4 LHE drunkfest. I donk some turn after going "OH WHAT A CARD!" and renaud folded second pair. Since then he has been taking up NL.
