Shower curtains have very little to do with our uptight sexuality (thats why we have doors on the bathroom) and everything to do with not getting water everywhere.

Shower Curtains don´t stop me in the least to spill water everywhere, and I mean everywhere (not only in the bathroom). I enjoy taking a bath much more, anyway (which doesn´t stop me to spill water everywhere, either).
