Regarding your preflop play I think this is a fold or shove situation. Your raise leaves you with <10bb and you are raising from MP with a weak pair. You basically need to flop a set to be comfortable with your hand. As played either shove the flop or check\fold like you did. I wouldn't bet just T300 on this flop. Definitely shove or check behind.
