The middle part of 'My Sharona' by The Knack . . .

This was my submission to a thread I started in EDF about "Immaculate Solos", and I got railed for it, but yeah, that guitar solo is awesome. Jamming, cruising, amazing.

The guitar solo from "Time", by Pink Floyd. Just one of my favorite guitar solos of all time. It evokes the mood of the song perfectly. Also "immaculate" imo (meaning that you could not change a note without lessening the solo).

Gene Krupa's drums from "Sing, Sing, Sing", Benny Goodman and His Band, written by Louis Prima. Wow. Still blows me away. This song pretty much marked the end of the take off ramp and the point of launch of the Swing Era, in 1937. For a really good modern recording, check out the arrangement on the "Swing Kids" soundtrack.

There are so many more.
