Do you know anybody else who uses PT and could try importing them into a test DB - just to see if its something related to your PT. You are the only person I am aware of who has come across this problem, and I no longer use PT, so its very hard for me to test.

Also, what kind of hand hand histories are they? Are they for a game type that is rarely played?

Can you paste a copy the whole of a broken HH file (which it wont import) and send as a PM or email (see my profile for email). Even better would be if you could attach it and send with email, as their may be some messed up ASCII codes causing the problems and these might not paste 100%.

I can't promise anything, as pretty hard for me to test without PT, but I will try.

If I have the hand grabber running while i'm also sitting at some of my tables will it screw up the tables i'm sitting at by importing the file twice or will pt be able to tell its the same hh file and ignore one?

[/ QUOTE ]
No I don't think so (Discussed here allready).

Juk-

Can you elaborate on why dual processor machines may have issues? I would assume this would apply to dual core and hyperthreaded processers also?

I am not sure if they do make any difference (just trying to get to the bottom of why it wont work for these two people), but I have a distant memory of reading some code which used the same process/API calls as I used to grab the hands (but in the context of game trainers which also write to memory), and it had to have some additional code adding for dual processor machines (possibly semaphores for locked memory? - long time since I read this).

Yes, if it were an issue then it would effect these two (I meant dual core/dual processor to mean the same... ).

Juk,
I just wanted to drop a note to say thank you. I mean it, I'm really happy to start mining again.
Keep up the good work!

Just wanted to say, this program absolutely rocks. Thanks!

Also, if there is a v.02, which I thought I saw mentioned, you should link to it in the first post in this thread to make it easier to find.

Thanks again!
