I've never seen $5/10 live. Used to drive me crazy playing with so many $1 chips, but I've come to accept the perspective of the casinos. If you have any reasonable bankroll, there's no reason to play $3/6 in Las Vegas ever when you can play $4/8 at the Bellagio, and $8/16 would be even better most of the time. Mirage has a $10/20 game and it's nice not to have to deal with all those chips, but then again I think Wynn has a $9/18 game.

Isn't $5/10 played with red $5 chips (1 chip/2 chips)? That's the way it is at Foxwoods. $10/20 would also be played with red $5 chips, 2 chips/4 chips.

Wynn has $8/16 but not $9/18.
