Listen if you take the bus take the Academy Line from Gate #1 at the Port Authority. I know I will get reamed here and be told that it is less reliable than Greyhound, which can be true. But there is considerably less riff raff on the Academy Line and I find that to be true. Less weirdos. I have sat next to so many f****d up people on the Greyhound Line I prefer to ride Academy. Taking the bus sucks anyways but it is the best option for you I think. Take the Satellite Airport shuttle bus from JFK to the Port Authority and from there take the bus. That is your cheapest and best option.

You can hire a limo.

Anyone know how much this costs?

For one-way fares, this site quotes $275 for a Town Car, $325 for a six-passenger limo:

I take the 7 train too. Anyway, thanks, it's much cheaper than I expected.

Oops, I missed a relevant footnote: Friday, Saturday and Sunday rates are "slightly higher". Also, I doubt they can surpass the luxury and sophistication of the 7 train.
