If Passaman is the BBV chaplain (as it says in his profile), and he is setting himself on fire, what religion does that make him?

[ QUOTE ] If Passaman is the BBV chaplain (as it says in his profile), and he is setting himself on fire, what religion does that make him? [/ QUOTE ] I'm an Evangelical Christian,... [/ QUOTE ] Oh. I didn't know that was part of your rites. Would that be called a baptism by fire? I had ruled out Norse pagan and Hindu - they only get set on fire after they die. Thought maybe it was Buddhist - didn't Buddhist monks use self-immolation as a protest in various Asian countries? [ QUOTE ] ... but I was despondent. It was either that or peel all the skin off my body, or start rooting for the Raiders. [/ QUOTE ] I'd advise option 3 - it is more painful and the effects last over many seasons. |
