NHL 1/3 - Minnesota vs Detroit

Folks there is a huge overlay on this game at +198 for the Wild.

I have this game capped at 145 and SBRlines has the estimated line at 109. Needless to say 198 is so far off base you can't afford not to take Minnesota here. I am not saying Minnesota will win this game, but if you are looking for +EV bets this one definitely qualifies.

Minny has been red hot lately. Their goal scoring has improved and their goaltending has been rock solid all season. Detroit has been playing well too, but getting 2-1 on my money I'll take my chances.

New Jersy (lost 5 of last 6)

Pittsburgh +188 (2-0-2 in last 4 - both OT losses to Toronto)
Montreal (lost 4 of last 5)

Anyone have any thoughts on these?

I know, I can't beleive I didn't bet when it was +213 last night. Bowmans has it for +200 right now.

Fernandez may be out with the flu tonight, so looks like Roloson in goal for the Wild. Not much of a drop off, but would prefer Fernandez in there.

We'll see how it goes.

Roloson is starting for Minny...so I'm not sure I like the play. I do like the Penguins at +190 though.

An interesting note about this game is that when I checked around 5pm it was the #1 consensus pick for ALL sports on wagwerline yesterday 75% to 25%. Gotta love the public [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

This ended up being my only hockey play of the night. I did jump on a couple of NajdorfDefense 's college hoop picks. Prolly why it only went 3-3 last night [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Today's games aren't looking promising in the value department.
