Noise Machines (Kind of an extension of my sleep post)

We have an air-purifier running in the bedroom. It's just one of those short plug-in varieties. Thing is, I don't even know if there's a filter in it; we just turn it on to add white noise, especially since the neighbor plays his TV so loud we can understand complete dialog.
