This is the 3$ rebuy 10k guar. About 39 left. 36 moves up in money but it's 20% and obviously not anything worth worrying about. I'm less than average and first place has over 800k. What do you think?
A little background: I placed 96th in this tournament yesterday and 28th in the 20k that same night. I'm feeling a bit anxious about hitting the top. Any read on SB? SB limp-complete/push kinda scares me more than if he minraised and then pushed over your raise.
You have to call 140k to win 270k. I think you can get away from that if you have a read that the SB wouldn't do this with trash. |

I've been there maybe two orbs (and not full handed). No real stats or reads yet.

I don't like the initial raise. I would prefer to push or check. I lean towards pushing, unless I've already pushed a couple times when SB has completed.
I think pushing is preferable to a 4x raise because we are putting in the last raise and putting villian to the test for most of his chips. Also, if SB just calls the pot size will be about 140k, which is about the size of our remaining stack. Playing a pot like this sucks with A4s, even with position. |
